Hull Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC)

Simply CDM provided CDM and Building Regulations Principal Designer support services to Vinci Building for the Hull Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) project.
The CDC offers a wide range of diagnostic services, including MRI, X-ray, CT scanning and ultrasound facilities. These services are designed to support the early identification of health conditions and improve patient outcomes for illnesses such as cancer, stroke, heart disease and respiratory conditions, while also helping to reduce waiting times and ease pressure on acute hospital sites.

In line with other CDCs across the UK, the project brings vital healthcare services into the city centre and supports local businesses through increased footfall. The Hull Community Diagnostic Centre is located on a central, highly accessible site at the north-east of the Albion Square masterplan, close to key transport links and the existing Wilberforce Health Centre.
